The city of Paris is, by far, one of the more “expensive” places I have visited. With a strong focus on tourism, it is essential to recognize that merely visiting major landmarks will not offer comprehensive insight into authentic local perspectives and culture.

When it comes to must-visit attractions, the Louvre Museum and the iconic Eiffel Tower top my recommendations. It may be beneficial to visit the Eiffel Tower in the evening so you are able to see it “lighted up.”
